According to an article in the latest Dallas Business Journal, a Kroger store in Carrollton is the first in the area to offer ethanol-based E85 fuel. The store located at 4038 Old Denton Road, will price the ethanol fuel lower than regular, unleaded gasoline.
This ties into an article I read on the plane this week about ethanol gasoline and does it really save you money. The report is in the recent issue of Consumer Reports. And from the jest of it, the writers of the article are not huge fans of the fuel. If you have some time, read the article and come to your own conclusions!
