Citing Unpublished Opinions - Texas Rules of Form 4.1.2(c)

In Texas, opinions "not designated for publication by the courts of appeals under current or prior rules have no precedential value but may be cited with the notation, "(not designated for publication)" following the full citation."

Example:
Young v. State, No. 10-02-00186-CR, 2003 WL 22023670, at *2 (Tex. App. - Waco Aug. 27, 2003, no pet.) (mem. op., not designated for publication).
