Program: Making Time for the Challenge
Course Description: Staying current with all the e-mails, phone calls, professional reading and daily routine can wear down a good librarian. Using PowerPoint in a one hour presentation Blythe McCoy will explain how librarians can identify and prioritize their responsibilities with the goal of becoming more efficient and motivated on the job and avoid being swamped by the variety of tasks each faces. Management practices and procedures that one can use will be discussed. Learn to apply time management techniques for prioritizing and minimizing work efforts for the best results.
