Netscape...the browser of choice for...1994 and beyond!
An announcement was made this week that AOL will no longer be supporting Netscape as their browser for the Internet. It will disappear on Feb. 1st.
Netscape was the second browser I learned in the 1990s. Mosaic takes the honors as the first browser and the Netscape application quickly took over as only browser of choice until IE came into the picture. Netscape was then bought and used only by AOL and its users.
