Your Money Bus Tour is Coming to Dallas: Information to Help Weather Current Economic Times

The Your Money Bus Tour is coming to Dallas Public Library. When: Monday, February 23, 2009, 2:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Where: J. Erik Jonsson Central Library, 1515 Young St., Hamon Training Room, Dallas, TX 75201

National Association of Personal Financial Advisor's (NAPFA) non-profit arm, the NAPFA Consumer Education Foundation is participating in a nationwide financial literacy outreach program, through an across-the-nation bus tour. Dubbed Your Money Bus, TD Ameritrade and Kiplinger's magazine are also co-sponsoring the event.
NAPFA volunteers will be distributing basic information about budgeting, taxes, debt management and savings. They will also be available to answer general questions relating to individual finances.

Stops for the Money Bus Tour on February 23 include:
9:00 am to 11:00 am – Complimentary financial advice event at the University of Texas at Arlington, in the Center for Continuing Education and Workforce Development (140 W. Mitchell Street, Arlington, TX 76019). Volunteers will be located in Room E 200F. Bring your financial questions and receive answers from a financial advisor. Be sure to pick up a toolkit full of information on managing debt and savings.
11:30 am to 1:30 pm – Complimentary financial advice event at Central Market Southlake (1425 E. Southlake Blvd, Southlake, TX). Bring your financial questions and receive answers from a financial advisor. Also pick up a toolkit full of information on managing debt and savings.
2:00 pm to 4:30 pm – Complimentary advice event at the J Erik Jonsson Central Library, on the 5th floor (1515 Young Street, Dallas, TX). Bring your financial questions and receive answers from a financial advisor. Be sure to pick up a toolkit full of information on managing debt and savings.
