EU extends musical copyrights by 20 years, eyes movies next
The European Parliament has agreed to extend musical copyrights from 50 to 70 years, just in time to safeguard The Beatles' music for another two decades. Parliament also suggested that a similar extension might be good for the movie
business, too.
