Community Service Project: Give Books!

For our community service project this term, DALL will hold a book drive to benefit the Promise House of Dallas, Texas. The Promise Houseembraces homeless, runaway, and at-risk teens and has been in operation since 1984 (for more information, please see their website at: http://www.promisehouse.org).

According to the director of Promise House, Dr. Harriet Boorhem,the teens especially like the Twilight book series. Dr. Boorhem's assistant also supplied the following link for additional suggestions:

You may bring your donation to the DALL Holiday Party on Dec.13th if you are planning to attend. You may also ask those in your organization to donate and I will arrange for pick up and delivery (estimated delivery date will be on Friday, December 21).
