our final community service project of the year, DALL is participating
in the Mayor’s Summer Reading Club! See details below for more
information on the online book drive we are hosting beginning tomorrow,
April 1st.
Please join DALL as we support this year’s Mayor’s Summer Reading Club. Each summer thousands of students across Dallas participate in the free,eight-week summer program that encourages reading and community participation for all ages. Each week participating young club members will have a chance to win an incentive prize by reporting what they read to any Dallas Public Library location. This summer the Reading Club would like to have three of the weekly prizes be a new book for Reading Club reader’s ages 0-18 years. In order to have the books for each library giveaway, we need your help!
DALL will be hosting an online book drive beginning, April 1 – May 1. Please click on the graphic below which will take you to the Mayor’s Summer Reading Club online donation site. Please select Dallas Association of Law Librarians from the drop down menu and make
your donation. Let’s show the Dallas area children who participate in
this summer reading club that DALL supports their educational accomplishments!
