Analog is disappearing from the airwaves.
As of Feb. 18, 2009, TVs that use analog and/or antennas will need to be upgraded to watch the new HD channels. Owners of these "antique" sets will be able to apply for goverment help to pay for converter boxes. For more info on how to obtain that "help" ($40 check) see http://www.dtv.gov/.

Any news stories on what to do with our old TVs?
Not yet...which I am suprised! Can you image the recycling and also trash dumps of millions of old tvs?
