I saw a post on BeSpacific regarding new environmental regulations in India , which triggered my memory of an article I saw in Smithsonian this month on the Ganges River and how lax enforcement of environmental regulations has caused this great river to become extremely polluted.

Need info from EPA?

Many of you have heard that a number of EPA libraries have closed. Here in DC, the EPA Headquarters Library and the OPPTS Chemical Library are closed, but the EPA Office of General Counsel Law Library is still open.

Air Quality Standards for Dallas/Ft. Worth Area

In an effort to improve air quality throughout the state, with an emphasis on the Dallas-Ft. Worth and Houston areas, the Senate passed SB 12. It is now under consideration by the House.

Note: Hopefully this will help clean up some of the smog surrounding downtown Dallas on those hot, humid days!
